Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using the Faffa desktop application (the “app”) or this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Faffa.

2. Licence to use the app

Faffa grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app for your own personal or internal use. You agree not to resell it, or to reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract credentials or interfere with third-party services accessed through it, except to the extent the law permits.

3. Bring your own keys and accounts

Faffa works with AI providers and services using your own API keys and accounts (for example Google Gemini, OpenAI, Google, and your email provider). You are responsible for those accounts, for keeping within their terms, and for any costs or usage charges they incur. Faffa does not pay for, and is not responsible for, your third-party usage.

4. Third-party services

Faffa connects to services operated by others — including Google, OpenAI, WhatsApp, and Telegram. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or changes they make.

5. AI output

Faffa uses AI models that can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected output. Do not rely on Faffa for legal, medical, financial, or other professional decisions. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying anything Faffa produces or does on your behalf, including actions it takes in connected accounts.

6. The software is provided free and “as is”

Faffa is provided free of charge and “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Faffa and its developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app — including actions taken by the AI in your connected accounts.

8. Termination

You may stop using Faffa at any time by uninstalling it. We may release updates, change features, or discontinue the app. These Terms continue to apply to your use of any version you keep.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Faffa evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date.
